What is the hardware specifications to run PowerSuite™ efficiently?
- PC with Pentium 4, 2.4 GHz, 128 MB RAM, 40 GB hard drive.
- Microsoft Windows NT4.0 with Service Pack 6 or later, Windows 2000 Professional, Windows XP service pack 1 or 2.
- For Windows NT Workstation 4.0 or Windows NT Server 4.0: 32 MB RAM for the operating system plus an additional 8 MB of RAM for each application running simultaneously.
- For Windows 2000 Professional: 64MB RAM for the operating system plus an additional 8 MB of RAM for each application running simultaneously.
- CD-ROM or CR-R writable (or a 128 Mb flashdrive for backups)
- Super VGA or higher-resolution monitor. A super VGA running with a resolution of 1024 x 768 (large fonts) is recommended for comfortable reading.
- Microsoft Mouse, Microsoft Intellimouse® or compatible pointing device.
- A Hewlett Packard LaserJet or DeskJet is highly recommended.

Can the program run on a network?
The systems can be deployed as a standalone or in a networked configuration. In a networked environment the workstations are used for specialised purposes such as administration, lookup and the issue of books.

How often is the product updated?
The products are updated at least once a year.

What is normally included in upgrades?
Upgrades are planned on the basis of questionnaires sent to the existing user base. This is complemented by short and medium term software enhancement to ensure that the product stays relevant and incorporate the latest technologies.
