What is the hardware specifications to run PowerSuite™ efficiently?
The ideal system requirements for a single PC are:
- Intel Core i5 3230M 2.60GHz Processor or better
- 4 GB RAM
- SATA2 120 GB hard drive
- Windows 7 (service pack 1) or Windows 8 or Windows 10
- CD or DVD writer
- A printer is highly recommended
- Internet access is highly recommended
How often is the product updated?
The products are updated at least every second year.
Why does it look as if I have lost all my data?
A database is very sensitive for power glitches or sudden power outages while working on PowerSuite. The front-end (program) loses its connection to the back-end (data). You will never lose any data when this happens.
Can the program run on a network?
The systems can be deployed as a standalone or in a networked configuration. In a networked environment the workstations are used for specialised purposes such as administration, lookup and the issue of books.
What is normally included in upgrades?
Upgrades are planned on the basis of questionnaires sent to the existing user base. This is complemented by short and medium term software enhancement to ensure that the product stays relevant and incorporate the latest technologies.
